For the most part, those of you coming to this site have been directed by me or someone linked to me. I’m sure you’d love to know what gives me the authority to launch such a site, well here’s the generic stat that qualifies me, are you ready? I’m a woman. There. Simple. Yes I’m a wife, mother, Christian, trainer, healthcare provider, but I’m a woman first and foremost, and that’s really what Sorelle is all about, women.
I’m a mom of six, and most importantly a sister to ALL women. My husband Bill helped bring the hopes and dreams I have held for years to fruition with the building of this site, our first step in the journey we pray will become much larger. We share our home with my two daughters, a teen and kindergartner, our hyper pup Helo and our old man Gunnar Bear. Our sons visit at different times throughout the year and every moment they’re not with us we miss them dearly!
With a varied background professionally speaking, I spent over 15 years in the medical field, including a stint in the US Army as a combat medic. I’ve also worked in the service industry ranging from serving to jumping in the kitchen where needed. Even though I made the conscious choice to leave the medical field permanently in 2018, I continued helping others improve their health as a trainer! I am a colossal nerd in all things science, especially the biology and chemistry behind the functioning of our human bodies.
I am a survivor who is in recovery and have no shame in admitting this. I use my voice as loud as I possibly can to spread awareness and educate others using my story. I am a faithful Christian and know the power God’s will has in my life, grateful for all he has blessed me with.
I find myself traveling far and wide regularly, my inability to sit still and resist boredom fuels this, but what it has offered me are experiences of a lifetime I would have missed otherwise. Mother Nature is my solace, I find peace in being outdoors and often run to the beach or the mountains when I need a break, the fresh air helps reset my soul. I am an eccentric free thinker, who loves to challenge the rules and minds of those I love around me. I push limits to open free thinking, and am a passionate humanitarian, I want those lifting me up me to feel the love, hope, faith, and acceptance I receive in return.
Welcome to my crazy world, enjoy the ride!
Mamba Mentality: How It Helped Me Beat Addiction
“Everything negative – pressure, challenges – is all an opportunity to rise. Great things come from hard work and perseverance….“Everything negative…
No Super Bowl This Year (Not because our team isn’t in it!)
Can you believe its Sunday, again?! It was the first week in a while I actually felt as if the days flew by! Didn’t January feel like it was six months long…
Won’t Take Nothing But A Memory
When life becomes unmanageable, I tend to run back home. Most often unsure of what exactly it is I am seeking, I always know the “house that built me” will bring intense comfort, even if only for a short time.
The Overlooked Heroines of America
We have nearly two million female veterans within our nation, constituting approximately a tenth of the overall veteran population…
A Thousand Miles Began With One Step
Heading down the highway that morning, trunk packed full, and my babies safely asleep in the back seat, I knew only one phone number by heart.
My Only Way Out Was Through It
I’m going to be bluntly honest here. This is my truth and some won’t agree, while others won’t want to read what is written because my truth hurts them…
Chances, Choices, and Changes
As many can tell, we have had a redesign to the site recently. As the Founder and Co-Creator, I thought a short note regarding this update would be appropriate.
I Almost Missed The Love I Need Most
My youngest child turned two a few days ago and ever since, I can see how difficult it can be dealing with me sometimes!
We’re Leaving On A Jet Plane
For weeks now, I’ve convinced myself today would be a relieving one. The future nine days will be kid free, when was the last time that happened?!…
All About The Family We Choose
People enter your life and often exit just as quickly. Sometimes you will meet the wrong ones, but every so often, certain…
